I had originally intended to use an entirely different background patterned paper for this image. I have one that has branches and blossoms on it similar to the image. However, when I went to create the card, I just couldn't get happy with anything I tried. Finally I set that aside, and started fresh with the colored image in my hand and my stash of paper before me. The end result is MUCH better than anything I had tried previously. Sometimes it is about knowing when to change course.

This works beautifully Alex. The image really stands out from the background, and that paper is so perfect for the stamp.
ReplyDeleteAlex, this turned out so pretty.I love the layout and your background paper matches it perfectly
ReplyDeleteThat is the most perfect dp you could have used Alex! I like the way you cut circles to go with the arch of the vines in the image...a perfect match as well.
