Mermaid in coral
Coral the color that is. This is an image from Plate #84 by Elaine Cox. I love both images on this plate, but today am sharing the mermaid under the sea.
I used coral and peach to color the mermaid and the flowers. I wanted a nice contrast the the stone in the image. This one, as are all designs by Elaine Cox, is a joy to color. I really liked matching the mermaid to the flowers and the hair. I had this pattern paper that was just perfect. Don't ask me what it is, because I have no idea, I just had a small piece and it worked! I am sure many of you can understand how that happens.
I live in Idaho with a great hubby and two sons. I love the fiber arts and papercrafts. I have started running and recently completed a FULL MARATHON. If you want a glimpse in to my life, this is the place for you. Hope you enjoy your time.

I LOVE those colors together Alex!! The flowers in the scene match those in your paper perfectly.
