Little Lady Bug

I love the fairy-tale feel of this Joanne Schempp image called Lady Bug.
The beautiful fairy girl holding a light over the little lady bug is truly sweet.
The image has been coloured with Copics, but I chose softer colours to match the gentle tone of this stamp.
The black cardstock was my way of adding contrast to the card.
This really is a precious image.
It can be purchased on its own or on sheet #1, plate #130 with three other equally sweet images.

Thank you so much for joining me today
Hugs Renee

  1. Lovely work Renee! Love how you did your "out-of-the-box technique with the circular shape.
Love the black edger shape, who makes that please?
    Thanks for sharing,

  2. Beautiful work Renee. I love the lacey look behind the image and the tiny dots of "bling". I can never make mine so even and evenly spaced. Your coloring is just gorgeous! Wonderful!

  3. Totally love your card. Love the colors and your card shape. I've had to throw my 1st attempt at this gorgeous image away..... oh and the 'bling' is perfect.

  4. Renee, this is such a sweet image and you did a beautiful job on it. Your coloring is awesome

  5. Just beautiful. I love the contrast the way you added it and really like that she is hanging off the edge.

  6. Wonderful card, Renee. I love your colouring. It looks so great with those different colours you used. And it looks great how the circle come out of the card. Great idea. You know, I always recognize your style when I see your creations before I see a name of who made it :o). So great to have an unique style!
