Butterfly Dragon

I fell in love with this cute little dragon from the first time I saw him. It is 'Butterfly Dragon' from the gorgeous Lisa Victoria Fantasy Collection at Sweet Pea Stamps. He comes on plate # 117 together with another gorgeous image, and himself as a mini as well. And is available as a single stamp as well. 

I coloured him on 300 gram watercolour paper with Distress Inks. The papers for the background are from Penny Lane and from Basic Grey's porcelain collection. The flowers and bling are from local stores. As a finish I added some stickles to his wings, flower and his cheek.

    Lovely Karina! What struck me was how your top flower resembles a happy sun overlooking a happy dragon. The way the petals go out just made it double for a sun...cool.

    ooohhh I have such a hard time with bright colors but this is soooo cheerfully beautiful. I love how you colored the dragon. Whoever receives this card is literally receiving some wonderful fairyland sunshine :-)
