Purple Beauties

I loved these images from Meredith Dillman's Sheet #3, Plate #94.
They have such a great depth to them.
With the cards I decided to challenge myself and use the color purple.
This is normally a color I would avoid, for some reason I find it hard to work with.
Raven's Treasure
The Hidden Self
I found the images a joy to color, putting them on cards was the hard bit.  but overall I think they turned out okay.  Is there a color you would normally avoid using?  If there is, grab them out and have a play, it is great to challenge ourselves every now and then.

  2. Okay? Both cards are wonderful, Renee!! The colours you used look fabulous. I love how you coloured the wings on The Hidden Self different. I think I haven't a colour I avoid, guess I tried out all of them on my cards.
