Showering you with love

With Valentine's just around the corner I thought it was time for a LOVEly card. I got my DT package from Sweet Pea the other day and here is one of the stamps I chose to play with. Aren't they adorable? The stamp is one of four from plate 102 designed by Elaine Cox.

Both patterned papers are from Basic Grey and I thought the brown paper was perfect to use with the bears. The image is coloured with promarkers. I used cotton candy glitter glue on the hearts and when they were dry I put some dimensional glaze on them. I went over with a clear sakura glitter pen on the bears' wings and cloud. The hears are cut out using scalloped hearts nesties. I dry embossed the biggest heart and inked all of the hearts with a brown distress ink. The edges are made with a Martha Stewart doily hearts border punch. Finally I hand wrote the sentiment and added some glitter on it as well. I'm trying to use my handwriting so I will like it when I start journaling in scrapbooking. I must say it's growing on me...
