Ching Chou Kuik's Radiant Butterfly

Hi Everyone,

Have you seen the new stamps at the Sweet Pea Stamps shop? I had some time to play with Ching Chou Kuik's Radiant Butterfly.

She was a joy to color and is the norm for me, colored with Copics randomly picking pinks and purples. I used to many different shades that I didn't keep track, lo. The soft pink background was done with chalks and I edged the panel edge with a gold krylon pen. Agh, I always have such issues with these pens.
I pulled out my atyou Spica Glitter pens which I added to her jewelry, hair and the butterflies.

Deciding on my DP was (is) always the hardest part, took me forever - I have way too much paper AND I have no 'knack' in picking out papers, which is probably because I color first and then choose the DP. If I'd only do it the other way around, right? Hey, when I get my Sweet Pea Stamps, all I want to do is color them, that to me is the fun part.

I added a couple of handmade ribbon flowers, Viva Decor gel, square rhinestones and a metal sentiment. Here's another view showing the glitter:

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the shop for this gorgeous stamp which is available as a single stamp or as part of Plate #86.

  8. What a beautiful card! As always, your coloring is gorgeous! It's funny you mentioned that you have trouble with those gold pens, because I was thinking it looked so great and I needed to ask your secret because I always have problems with those pens! :-)Traci
