For my card today I decided to finish Elaine Cox's Little Seahorses Mermaid which is available as a single stamp or as part of Plate #48.
I also used my Distress Inks to edge all the layer panels and the card edges. I went for a distressed look with the background paper by crumbling it up, then flattening it and using my foam blending tool rubbed Distress Ink all over that. It adds a bit of dimension.
The sentiment is also from Plate #48 which I stamped using Tuxedo Black ink, then cut the sentiment panel narrow enough to fit one end through the metal label tag. To lift if off the paper a bit, I used 3D foam squares to adhere to the card.
Hope you like it, and I hope you have time to play with some of the gorgeous array of stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps. Remember, we want to see what YOU create, so don't forget to share!!
