Connie-Lady In Red-NOT Little Red Riding Hood!

I started out trying to match the dress design with the background (Cuttlebug folder "D'Vine Swirl") and it sort of took off from there.

I stamped, colored the Sweet Pea Stamps Winter Watcher image from plate #25 with Copic markers & trimmed it. Then I cut a mat using the SU matter discs. I keep forgetting what they are named? Those little metal circles with the hole in that you run along your image to make a larger mat.

I swiped a black Memento pad over the embossed background, matted onto black and onto the red base with the image over all that.

Then I dug around my flower stash to find some petals. I colored one black with a Dew Drop Memento pad and layered it with red silk flowers, stuck a brad in the center and attached below the main image.

I added a tiny rhinestone in her necklace and some glitz with a clear glitter pen by Galaxy.

I tried to show off the glitter like Jennifer, but alas! I could not.
