For the Angels Among Us

These two cards are made with the newest Sweet Pea Stamps Angels Plate #17. These stamps are absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't stamp with just one so you get double viewing pleasure today. The cards are made with the same supplies with the difference being the positioning of the background papers and a change in the embellishments.

Supplies:

Sweet Pea Stamps Angels Plate #17
Dark Blackberry Memories Ink Pad
Cream and Dark Purple Card Stock (Club Scrap)
2 Printed Card Stocks (Club Scrap)
3 Mulberry Paper Flowers (Prima Mktg)
Angel Wings (Darice)
Eggplant Alcohol Ink (Ranger)
Aged Brads (Unknown)
Adhesive (Scotch)

Directions:
  1. Stamp the angel images on cream colored card stock and trim out neatly.
  2. Cut mats from the cream and dark purple card stock that are 1/4" and 1/2" larger than the stamped images.
  3. Double mat each stamped image.
  4. Cut one of the printed card stocks to 1 1/2" x 4" and the coordinating one to 4" x 4 1/2".
  5. Attach each of the printed card stocks to the card front overlapping the edges that meet up slightly. There should be a small border of the card front showing along the 4 sides.
  6. Attach two brads along the line where the two prints meet at the top of the card.
  7. Attach the matted angel image so that it slightly overlaps the seam below the brads.
  8. Attach the remaining brad below the matted image.
  9. Attach the embellishments to the upper left hand corner of the stamped image.
*To create the printed paper flowers, use the script sentiment and the Dark Blackberry inkpad, stamping directly onto the petals.

*The angel wings are metal which are aged with the Alcohol Ink to slightly dull the bright gold color.
