Sweet Pea Stamps

Today is my day to showcase and image from Sweet Pea Stamps and I have chosen to work with the beautiful image Munchies by Karen Middleton which is available from the Sweet Pea Store as a digi.

I have decided to make a box to hold a muffin for a change, a nice wee gift to give to my friend on her birthday I hope <g>  Alas I have to buy the muffin as I can't cook and won't cook lol.

To begin with I made a template for the box and lid and then covered them with gift wrapping paper.

With all the corners glued and the acetate windows in place it was time to put the box to one side to dry.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then chalked the background.

A simple tag was made using Spellbinders Scalloped ovals, the larger back one was covered in the wrapping paper before die cutting.  I then coloured a silver peel off sentiment with my Promarker and put this on the top section of the tag.

 To finish off I added ribbon, buttons and Ice Stickles.

• Dies - Spellbinders Grand Scallop Ovals 
• Ribbon, Ice Stickles and buttons from my stash

A Valentine Love Faery with Suzi

Happy Valentine's Day to You All.  Today I'm sharing with you card i've made featuring the gorgeous rubber stamp by Amanda S Byron called Arielle Love Faery.

With it being Valentine's Day I could not resist using lots of shades of Pink and Red, with a little pale blue for contrast.

You'll see I'm not the only one to be using this gorgeous image, as Angelique has a wonderful Valentine Gift to share with you too, so make sure you keep reading..

Amanda Byron's Arielle Love Fairy - by Angelique

Wow the weeks are flyin by, can't believe it's already saturday again.

And it's Valentines saturday.

Happy Valentine everyone, I hope you all have a fabulous day.

Now on to my project, which ofcourse is a Valentines gift

I've used the gorgeous rubber stamp Arielle Love Fairy by Amanda S Byron.

She's such a cute fairy and goes perfectly with my altered empty instant decaff glass jar which is filled with chocolate hearts.

MATERIALS: 

Empty jar, gesso, acrylic paint, lace, swirl die, embelishment stickers, leave stamp, flowers, glitters, distress markers/refills, distress ink pad, archival black ink pad, chocolates (to fill the jar)

Sweet Pea Stamps Inspiration With Nataliya

 Welcome to another week of inspirational post at Sweet Pea Stamps.  This time i used wonderful stamp by Charity Dauenhauer "Who Is Talking". I used distress inks to color.

Have you met Lucy Loo?

Here's a wonderful rubber stamp from one of Sweet Pea's newest artists The East Wind.  This great image is called Lucy Loo Mustache.  I am totally in love with the Lucy Loo stamps!  Even though she does look very serious here, I did this card in a playful them by added the sentiment "Laugh with me."  I do think it's even funnier that a lady with such a serious face would hold up a mustache and give you that look.

I wanted to keep this card simple so I used some specialty papers, lovely lace and some shimmery embellishment bling called Candi.  They come is gorgeous color combos.

Valentines 'Emotive' - Marlon Teunissen - Tera

 Hallo,
   I have a Valentines Day shaker card for you today. I used this sweet and sexy image from Marlon Teunissen called  'Emotive' and colored her with prismacolor pencils. Thie sweet image is available both as a rubber stamp and as a digi.
  I used a die cut for the card which makes it very easy as it is cut and scored and ready to go - just glue the sides, add a clear plastic sheet to the cut out, add some shakies (in this case some clear beads and small red foil hearts) and seal the top.
  I decorated the outside with rows of red rhinestones and glittered foam hearts.
  Fun and easy to do and I hope my DH will enjoy her for his Valentines Day card :)
