Variation Week - Hooty So In Love, Jane's view

Sweet Pea Stamps

Today is my day to showcase an image from Sweet Pea Stamps called Hooty So In Love by Concetta Kilmer.  This image is being used by the whole team for our Variation Week creations.

This image just shouted Valentine to me :) :) :) now that is a celebration I love :)  I just could not resist having a blue and pink owl.

The image was coloured with Spectrum Noir Blendable Crayons.

 Onto making the card.  After having tried several different papers and none giving me the effect I wanted I ended up settling to go with mulberry paper with its beautiful texture.  The papers were only attached in the centre as I wanted the edges to flappy.

 Next I embossed the card blank with the mulberry papers attached.

 To finish off the card I printed my sentiment <g> and mounted it on the same mulberry paper combination.  Spellbinder Grand ovals and Scalloped Ovals were used to mount the image.   Now I know it was not straight, that is deliberate - no relationship is so perfect, it has it's off centre moments but working through them is the 'key' to having strong foundations and 'padlocking' the union <g>. Talking about keys and padlock, the die used for these was Cottage Cuts Lock and Key.

• Spectrum Noir Blendable Crayons
• Dies - Spellbinders Grand Ovals and Scalloped Ovals, Cottage Cuts Lock and Key
• Gold twine and mulberry paper from my stash

'Little Shepard' Christmas ornaments - Tera

 Hallo,
  Just stopping in today to show you a few Christmas ornaments I made using this sweet image called 'Little Shepard' from Aurora Wings.
  I printed him up smaller than I usually do for cards so he would fit inside the ornament.
  I colored him with copics and then cut him out with a circle die and edged the edges with gold metallic pen.
  I backed the image with glitter paper and added some beads inside the ornament too.
  These turned out so cute and were very easy to do too!!!!

Inspiration With Nataliya

Welcome to the Sweet Pea Stamps , and my inspirational Blog post.
For my project i used two gorgeous Sprite images by Mitzi Sato Miuff. "Holly Sprite" and "Mistletoe Sprite". You can find them HERE.

Here is close up photo of candles. i used some glitter and glossy Accents.

Had lots of fun making this project, and i hope you like it .

Ho Ho Ho!

 Here's the kind of Christmas card to give that special man in your life. I made this one for my hubby using an awesome stamp from Sweet Pea artist Joanne Schempp , her name is Kristy.  Hmmmm, Kristy Kringle perhaps?  I colored her with copic markers and to make the image stand out, I did the background of the image all in warm grey tones.

This image is also available in digi format.

Hope this fun image inspires you to make a card for your loved one this holiday!

Art Nouveau 2 with Suzi

Good Morning All, Today I'd like to share with you a quick gift idea featuring the gorgeous Art Nouveau 2 image by Karen Middleton;

I discovered this gorgeous image whilst browsing the Sweet Pea Stamps Website recently, I'm amazed at the images i've found whilst browsing since the site changeover; Having a larger picture of them really does make them stand out more, and instant downloads make it so easy to get your image and get creating with it.  I highly recommend taking some time to have a browse, and today is an excellent day to do it as we have a 50% discount code available only till the end of today.

Fairy Tea Party Tea Dispenser Inspiration

Hello everyone. Olivia here to showcase one of the beautiful images from Katerina Koukiotis. I have been doing some recent gift ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Today I decided to showcase some of images from Katerina Koukiotis's Fairy Tea party.

This lovely image was put on the cover of tea bag box dispenser. I followed the currently directions from Splitcoast Stampers on how to make this one. I colored the image with my Copics and added papers from my stash.

This gift would be great for tea bags or even small Ghieradelli chocolates packets.  Hope this gives you some inspiration for Holiday gift.

today I have this card for you with the beautifull Serenity by Concetta Kilmer...

I coloured Serenity with Stylefile and Copics markers and enhanced it with pencils and sansodor,

I just love the combination of purple green and turquoise together it makes me feel happy and I hope it makes you happy to.
