Aloha, Sweet Pea Lovers!!

Another week is behind us, and Easter is just around the corner. 
Today I am sharing a card which I made for a 7 years old boy. For my card, I used the beautiful stamp by Elisabeth Bell, named Party Present. I really enjoy playing with this stamp, and it sure won't be the last time I color it up!! LOL

I've been coloring up the image with Distress reinkers. The gorgeous designpapers are from My Mind's Eye. Stickers from Making Memories, die cuts from Kort og Godt - and LOTS of stickles ;)

Purple Rain

For my card this week I chose to work with Ching-Chou Kuik's gorgeous Autumn Rain image:

I coloured the image with Promarkers in stormy shades of purple and blue:

The papers and fibres are by Basic Grey and I added flowers...

...and butterflies...

...and some chipboard photo corners decorated with a faux dichroic glass technique...

Daisy

 Hello Ladies. I have a very cute card for today. How gorgeous this little Fairy are, don't you think???? absolutely adorable. Her name is Daisy and she was grated by Conie Fong.  You can have this image in Digi HERE, or Rubber stamp.

 I colored her with Prisma Pencils, added Glamour Dust paint to her wings, and added liquid Pearls to the Dress and Flourishes dies. Sentiment is a clear stamp, and die cut with labels die. Also i added Ribbon to the corner.

I came across this image by ching-chou kuik titled

"The Koi"

that had been stamped onto some vellum

some time ago and decided to play....

I cut a white mat and then a frame by 

fitting 2 dies together (by SB) and

airbrushed the scallop frame and 

UTEE'd it.

Then I used some gorgeous background paper

from a seed corn company ad.... can you believe it?

I added some gel stickers in one corner but

didn't want to cover too much.

SWEETPEA DT INSPIRATION

I loved colouring Holly by REBECCA SINZ for our blog hop so much I chose to colour her again.  This time I wanted to use more colour creating a different feel and attitude to the stamp.

I am forever trying different skin colour combinations and techniques.  I'm afraid I wasn't really confident of where to stop and so thought I may have over coloured the face!  I used the blender pen on the skin to help tone-in and I thought the hair was too flat so lifted some ink off with the blender pen which is now my most used pen!

I thought I would make another book as this is my favourite thing to make at the moment and to be honest I am always writing things down so I guess note books are added to my list of GIRL MUST HAVE THINGS!

I've struggled this week with my back and so I wasn't able to start my project until this morning.  As I am running in the wind - as to speak - I have not been able to bind the book to show you.  However, if time allows tomorrow I will finish and add another photo.
