Tera presents 'Gorgeous Guinevere' by Teresa Sherman

Hallo,
Showing you 2 versions of this lovely image today. She is 'Gorgeous Guinevere' by Teresa Sherman and I colored both versions with prismacolor and polychrome pencils. I often am compelled to color several different versions of any new image I get :)

Have a great day - Take Care

Tera presents 'Steampunk Mermaid' by Teresa Sherman

Hallo,
Just popping in to show you my latest project. I may have gone a bit over board on the pretties with this one  but I really like how she turned out!!
I used Teresa Sherman's 'Steampunk Mermaid' and colored her with prismacolor and polychrome pencils. This is such a fun steampunk image - you will be seeing more of her from me!!!
I decorated the box with nautical paper and added bunjches of pretties from gears and a corner piece made of clay to rhinestones and a metal flower to a tiny bottle with gold beads in it.
I also used a long drawer pull for the handle and smaller drawer pulls as feet for the box.
All for me today - Have a great day!!!!

That's all from me for today, make sure you come back tomorrow to see another awesome creation from on of my fellow design team members, I'm sure you won't want to miss it.

Bye for now

Tera Presents Blossom By Teresa Sherman

 Hallo,
Well as often happens with my Sweet Pea images I have a hard time deciding how to color them and end up doing several versions before moving on to another lovely image.
In this case it was 'Blossom' by Teresa Sherman. I colored both with my prismacolor pencils and backed them both to a heavy gold cardstock. I just love the hair and the flowers on this image!!!
These 2 will go in my growing pile for someone who has asked me to make her a personalized Tarot/reading card deck - which will be 44 cards. I plan to do up about 50 total so she can choose from them.
The card is 4 by 6 inches and needed to be mostly flat so minimal embellishments - both layers are edged with gold metallic pen and then I added some gold stickers and a touch of glitter to the butterfly, her eyes and her bracelet.
I am really having fun making these up - might just have to have my own reading deck - even though I know nothing of card reading and such but they are turning out so pretty!!!
All for today - Take Care!!!

Tera Presents Katarina By Teresa Sherman

 Hallo,
Don't you just love this beautiful snow leopard??
I HAD to have this image when I saw him!!!
And as often happens I had to do up a couple versions. Still working on my darker skin tones - a challenge for me it seems but getting there....
I colored them both with prismacolor pencils. I backed both to some heavy shimmery gold cardstock and edged both layers with a gold metallic pen. I added some gold corner stickers and that was it - I am making a personalized Tarot/reading card deck for someone so it needs to be flat but with this (and most) stunning image from Sweet Pea Stamps - it really doesn't need anything else :)
The card measures 4 by 6 inches.
All for today - Take Care

Endless Love - Teresa Sherman - Tera

 Hallo,
I have a fun project to show you today - I made this hanging with a very fun image by Teresa Sherman called 'Endless Love'
I colored the image with prismacolor pencils and used some glitter on the fairies wings and the dragons teeth and claws. I just love this image - I have colored them up several different ways.
I made up an encaustic wax piece for the layer behind the image (painting with hot wax using an iron)
Then I mounted both layers onto a matt board and added some silver stickers and faux pearls.
I used a silver metallic pen to edge all the layers.
I used a red ribbon hanger just to add a bit more red to bring out the heart a bit :)
   All for today!!! Take Care!!!

Featured Artist week - Teresa Sherman - Tera's view

 Hallo,
Our featured artist this week is Teresa Sherman and I chose this awesome dragon and his fairy called 'Endless Love'
This image is available both as a digi and a rubber stamp.
I colored them with prismacolor pencils and then layered the main image to a piece of encaustic wax (wax melted with a hot iron and 'painted' onto glossy cardstock). Layered those to black matt board.
I then added silver beaded swirls and silver pearl drops with a viva décor pen - a lot of silver drops :)
I then found a green ribbon to match the fairy's dress and wings to use to hang the piece.
I really had fun with this one!!!
