Sweet Pea Stamps

Today is my day to showcase and image from Sweet Pea Stamps and I have chosen to work with the beautiful image Margaret Fae by Amanda S Byron which is available from the Sweet Pea Store as a rubber stamp.  I have to admit this is not the sort of image I colour but oh what fun I had :) :) :)

To begin with I coloured the image with Faber Castell Polychromos colouring pencils.

 Next it was onto the card, this week I am making an easel card.  My first job was to find a suitable paper to work with.  I don't buy much in the way of design papers preferring wrapping paper and sheet of hand made paper.  I also have a few sheets of the paper often used to wrap flowers in from the florist and it was in that bundle I found just what I was looking for,  As the paper is very thin I then adhered it to some white card stock.

The sections for my card were cut with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circles and Grand Circles.

Keeping to the colour pallet of this card I die cut some butterflies from Spellbinders Les Papillions 2 and I chalked them to match my colouring on the digi wings.

 The sentiment was die cut using Tattered Lace Antique Ovals and I added a pink peel off birthday sticker.  Again the sections were coloured with the same chalks as the butterflies.  Liquid pearls were added to finish off.

 Two of the butterflies were used for the card front and the third I attached to my fussy cut image with a piece of wire so it would appear to be flying in the air.  The image and the butterfly were then attached to the card inside in  way that they can fold flat when the card is closed and then stand up at the front of the card when opened up giving a really wonderful 3D effect.

Using Spellbinders Foliage I cut a couple of leaves out of the scraps I had left over from the circle leaf paper covered sections.  Some green natural fibre mesh, a chipboard bird, bow and pearl spray finished off the front of the card.

• From my Stash - Liquid Pearls, pearl sprays, ribbon, chalks, green mesh, wire

Amanda Byron's Gabbie Alice in Wonderland with Suzi

Today I'd like to share with you a project I created using one of the gorgeous red rubber stamps from the Sweet Pea Stamp Store, I used the beautiful Gabbie Alice in Wonderland by Amanda S Byron.

You can't beat the quality of these rubber stamps, they stamp beautifully time after time, such a joy to work with.  I stamped Gabbie Alice in Wonderland in Black Tuxedo Memento Ink before colouring her with a mix of Letraset Tria and Promarkers.  I decided to go with a muted colour palette, and teamed my image up with papers from Dovecraft's Curiosity Corner. Rockin and shakin - Valentines Day shaker card - Tera

 Hallo,
   I have for you today a very Quick and easy little shaker card.
  The main image is called 'Rock My World' by Amanda S  Bryon and is colored with prismacolor pencils. This is such a fun image to work with - I will probably be making a few more shaker cards with this image!!! This image is a Rubber stamp BTW.
  I used a die cut for the shaker card with a clear plastic sheet for the hole and some clear beads and foil hearts for the shakies.
  I decorated the outside with rows of red rhinestones and some glittered foam hearts.

A Valentine Love Faery with Suzi

Happy Valentine's Day to You All.  Today I'm sharing with you card i've made featuring the gorgeous rubber stamp by Amanda S Byron called Arielle Love Faery.

With it being Valentine's Day I could not resist using lots of shades of Pink and Red, with a little pale blue for contrast.

Amanda Byron's Arielle Love Fairy - by Angelique

Wow the weeks are flyin by, can't believe it's already saturday again.

And it's Valentines saturday.

Happy Valentine everyone, I hope you all have a fabulous day.

Now on to my project, which ofcourse is a Valentines gift

I've used the gorgeous rubber stamp Arielle Love Fairy by Amanda S Byron.

She's such a cute fairy and goes perfectly with my altered empty instant decaff glass jar which is filled with chocolate hearts.

MATERIALS: 

Empty jar, gesso, acrylic paint, lace, swirl die, embelishment stickers, leave stamp, flowers, glitters, distress markers/refills, distress ink pad, archival black ink pad, chocolates (to fill the jar)
