Today I'd like to share with you all my project featuring the work of this months featured artist Linda Biggs. I chose to use the gorgeous 'Dark Shores' image, as it features a truly stunning mermaid;
The image title makes you think of the sun-setting, but I decided that I'd make it a sunrise, and combined it with some gorgeous sunshine papers and a 'Here comes the Sun' sentiment. Here's hoping we all get to see lots of the Sun really soon.
You can find this image in both Rubber and Digital Format in the Sweet Pea Stamps Store, along with lots more beautiful images.
Bye for now

Featured Artist Linda Biggs: The World is Full of Possibility
This week at Sweet Pea stamps we are featuring artist Linda Biggs. This fun image is called Sweet Pea. I thought it so fun to see a fairy standing in a bowl of sugar near a teabag, what more sentiment could go with that than "The world is full of possibility." I had to add this artistic butterflies on the same idea. More importantly, in thinking of all that has gone on in my life, I truly know that the world is indeed FULL of possibility and even when YOU have given up, there is someone right around the corner who has the answer for you.
Be sure and check out all the amazing images from Linda Biggs in our store and then drop by and chat with us in our Friends and fans group on facebook!
Happy Friday Everyone!

Rainbow Moon - Linda Biggs - Tera
Hallo,
Showing you today a 'playing card type' card - in that it doesn't open but is decorated on the front and back.
The front shows this lovely Mermaid fairy from Linda Biggs called Rainbow Moon. I colored her with copic markers and then added glitter to wings, seashells, parts of her tail and the stars. I covered the whole front of the card with clear lacquer for durability.
I really like this sweet fairy a lot - perfect combination of mermaid and fairy :)
I used some gold corner stickers and a gold metallic pen on the edges and the back is gold sparkly paper with a medulla on it.
All for today - Take Care

Featured Artist Linda Biggs... by Ria
This week the whole team is featuring artwork from the Fabulous Linda Biggs...
For my card I used Fairy Freak and I printed it on watercolour paper and coloured with watercolouring pencils. I am renewing my love for watercolouring pencils and paints after neglecting them for years hahahaa. I didn't use designer papers this time on my card I just used cardstock and a dotted crosshatch embossing folder by Tattered Lace to create my background.

Sweet Pea Stamps
I have a bunch of design papers from magazines and they just seem to sit there unused so I am making a conscious effort this year to attack the pile lol. With that in mind my first step was to choose my backing paper and then colour my image around those colours. With that done I used a peel off birthday sticker in white and airburshed it with my Promarker, one of the colours used in the image. I should add the image was coloured with Promarkers and I chalked the background. The sentiment was, once dry, placed on some of the DP used for the background and then die cut.
To finish off the card I used a Dreamcatcher die from Cherry Lynn which I airbrushed and Sizzix - Ornate Hanging Sign. The sentiment was cut with Xcut tags. a lace border was added along the bottom edge and a bow tied with the same lace and then airbrushed with my Lilac Promarker. Finally, some pink Stickels on the dreamcatcher and pearls picking out the three main colours, pink green and blue.
Ingredients:-
- Image - Medicine Woman by Linda Biggs and available from Sweet Pea Store in both rubber and digi
- Colouring Medium - Promarkers
- Dies - Dreamcatcher die from Cherry Lynn, Sizzix - Ornate Hanging Sign and XCut tags
- From my stash, lace, pearl brads, blue gems and Stickles

Meet one of our new artists, Sandra Caldwell
Here's a super cute image from Sweet Pea Artist Sandra Caldwell. This wonderful image is called Old Lady Love Letter. I used a combo of red and greens on her so I translated that onto the card itself. I hope I managed to do that without it looking anything like Christmas. I added a simple sentiment from Cosmo Cricket "You are Loved."
Here's a close up of the image, currently available in Digi Stamp format at the Sweet Pea store!
Here's another fun image from Sandra Caldwell, this one is called Old Maid Bee. How cute is she? I just love this artists fun style.
I hope you will drop by and check out all of her fun digi stamps at the Sweet Pea store.
Did you know we have a Facebook group where you can share your creations and play in contests to win free images? We do!! It's called Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans! Drop by and check us out.
Cheers, Holley

Denise sharing 'Rayna' from Charity Dauenhauer @ Sweet Pea Stamps (colored with copics).
I work myself into a TIZZY every time I color hair and what did I chose...a digi with alot of hair, if not the most! LOL!
But she is so beautiful and I love butterflies!
I cut out a frame with my cameo and embossed with a brick cuttlebug folder and sanded that (textured CS with no white core.) Fussy cut out a couple of flowers and butterflies and added some stickles and glossy accents.
I used butterfly die cuts (beautiful butterflies) from SU. I also used a butterfly stamp and matching punch from SU also and colored them with blendabilities from Stampin' Up too!
My sentiment and frame punch are from...WAIT FOR IT...Stampin' Up!
I made the sentiment with MDS2.
I started hairdressing when I was 18. You figure it out!
