Dream Time

Hi everyone, today I want to show you another creation I made with one of the fabulous images by Marlon Teunissen. This one is called 'Dream Time' and is available on Plate # 231 together with three other amazing images and as single stamp as well.

I coloured the image with Copics. And the papers I used are Prima Printery. And I think the Tim Holtz clock die is perfect to this image. I distressed it and added some crackle paint on it to give it a vintage touch. I also added some metal parts to my creation.

Have a wonderful day now! Thank you so much for your visit.
Hugs, Karina

Amythyst

Here's a stunning stamp from Joanne Schempp's wonderful images called Amythyst (Plate #206).   Be sure you click the link and check out this stamp on the Sweet Pea website because when you see the artist's coloring it's just so different and amazing.  It's so neat to see what a stamp can look like when done in different color families.

Here's a close up of my coloring of this image, I am using a warm color group, with reds as my primary color.  I used a wonderful background paper from Basic Grey to bring out all the colors and added small amounts of bling everywhere.  The image size is approx 2.75" x 3.5"
Check out all of Joanne Schempp's wonderful stamps at the Sweet Pea store and be and check into the great sale items.

Cheers,
Holley

Sassy Suki

For my card this week I chose to work with Joanne Schempp's Suki image:
I love this image... the coy yet sassy way she's looking over her shoulder, the swirl of her long hair.
I coloured her with Promarkers and decided to give her flaming red hair.. and a touch of sparkly eye shadow! :)
I framed her with a die-cut and embossed frame (a Marianne Creatables die) in blue, to match her blue eyes and tattoo, and made an easel card decorated with panels of white card which I dry embossed and edged with Distress Inks. I finished things off with paper flowers edged with Distress Inks, leaves die-cut from blue card, a crystal stem and a length of chiffon ribbon.
This image is available as a digi stamp from the Sweet Pea Stamps store - and don't forget the Black Friday sale now on with 45% off rubber stamps and a $9 gift voucher if you spend $30 on digi stamps!

Christmas Angel by Valarie Wade

This is the newest release in the Sweet Pea Stamps catalog and isn't she adorable? Titled Christmas Angel, she can be found in the Valarie Wade section. She will be available as a digi and in rubber!

The image was colored with copics, the background is TH Coredinations paper that has been embossed with a Cuttlebug Snowflake design. I added a touch of Platinum ink to the raised area of the die before pressing to highlight the snowflakes. To get the sparkle on the image and sentiment I used a clear star glitter pen.

Thanks for stopping by!

SWEETPEA DT INSPIRATION

Another week and another project to share with you.  This week I have used Teresa Sherman's Marina available here.

This is another image I coloured some time ago, well - three parts already coloured!

This week has been really difficult for me and I have battled with my depression so once again I am on the wire but hopefully I have managed to create something deserving of this beautifully
stamp.

For me I would use this tag on presents of PEARLS or BATH PRODUCTS.  For more details check out my blog here.

Best wishes,

Connie-Snowy Mailbox

Here is a card I have made using a technique called
"Distressed Water Backgrounds"
This is courtesy of Tim Holtz and his Distress Inks of course.
Also includes a lovely stamp by
Teresa Sherman titled "Snowy Mailbox"
exclusively for

Below I have included photos of the steps
taken with this card for you:

First swipe Distress inks across a nonstick craft pad
keeping them a bit apart so not to contaminate them:

Then spritz water on them until small beads appear like this:
Blot paper on this and heat until dry.

This is what it looks like the first time swiped and dried:

Swipe paper across wet inks a second time and dry with heat tool:

You can swipe and heat several times until you get the depth of color desired.
Then overstamp your image and finish.

Shabby Chic Ching Chou Kuik

I had already made a card for this week's Digi Wednesday... but then Lynette posted pictures of the new release of Ching Chou Kuik stamps (Plate #47) and I changed all my plans and started over again because I just HAD to have them! :)
You can pre-order (at a special reduced price!) these stunning images in red rubber format, but they are available as digi stamps right now! (Another reason why I love working with digi stamps). I decided to use the Silent Woods image:
Isn't she just beautiful? I fell in love with her on sight! :)
I went with a shabby chic colour scheme of pink, white and browns. I coloured the image with a mixture of Promarkers and Inktense pencils and used Paper Artsy papers, a Martha Stewart punch and Memory Box and Cheery Lyn dies.
I added some extra shabby chic glamour with Stampendous Frantage embossing powder, edging the picture with it and using it and some Frantage mica flakes to make a centre for my layered blossoms.

Have a lovely Wednesday - if anyone wants me, I'll be in my craft room colouring in more Ching Chou Kuik digi stamps!

Lori is on Youtube!

This card was created using an amazing image called "Black Hellebore" by Rebecca Sinz. It's available both as a rubber stamp and also as a digi. Her face was shaded with colored pencils. The following items were used to created the card:
Cardstock
Design paper by Bobunny
Pearls by Prima
Flowers- Wild Orchid Crafts
Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays
Doily
Frame cut from Cricut
Vintage lace
Tickets by Recollections
Vintage Photo- Tim Holtz
The background paper was dry embossed and inked it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The frame was sprayed with a coral shimmer spray, as were some of the flowers. The doily was sprayed in a Moonshadow mist called Ethereal Emerald.
In this tutorial, Lori demonstrates how to shade the flowers using ink from a stamp pad and a blender pen and then adding mica over the top for that special POP of sparkle.
