Lina's YouTube Video coloring Tori the Dragon Raining Hearts
To The Moon and Back - Jane's view
Hi folks, hope you day is going well. Time for me to share another Sweet Pea creation, this time a candle using the fabulous image Courtney McAnsh's To the Moon and Back.
To begin with I sprayed my tissue paper with a light adhesive spray and stuck it to some A4 paper. I then printed my candle wrapper. I know some folks use paper when covering candles but I find this far to heavy and suspect it it a bit of a fire hazard.
Normally I create my candle wrappers 100% digitally but many artist do not allow digital colouring of their digi images. Recently, while in the UK I invested in the Spectrum Noir blendable crayons and wondered if it would be possible to colour on tissue paper with them as they are fairly soft. Success :) :) After my wee practice I coloured this image with the SN blendable crayons.
Next I removed the backing paper and attacked my low tack wrapper to my candle.
After having wrapped it in wax paper I then used my heat gun to melt the wax from the candle through the tissue paper. Once done, I then added some candle gold dust in areas on the background and then, finished off with some water based candle varnish for a lovely sheen.
And here is the finished candle.

Regan Kubecek - 'Runaway Ruby' - Graffitti style- Tera's view
Hallo,
I have a little project for you today that is defiantly a bit out of my normal box but it was really fun to do.
It is a true 'mixed media' project as I have used a piece of my encaustic wax, and a zentangle piece, in addition to my main image and then added another graffiti style element with a zentangle twist to it....
The main image I used is called 'Runaway Ruby' by Regan Kubecek and I colored her with prismacolor pencils.
I thought that in her travels as she ran away from home Ruby must have done a lot of walking and anytime you walk in the city you are bound to see some graffiti. I layered her to a die cut and then to the graffiti stuff - adding the phrase to the side of her afterwards.(It says RUNAWAY - in case you cant read it - added some tangles to it too and its not as easy to read as when it was plain, but it looks more graffiti - ish that way....)
All for today - Take Care

Featured Artist Regan Kubecek, Have a Skully Christmas!
Here's an image I just HAD to get. It's a fun Sweet Pea image from artist Regan Kubecek. She's our featured artist on the Sweet Pea blog this week. This stamp is called Have a Skully Christmas. Be sure and check out her image on the website to see how very different it looks in the colors she has versus my coloring here.
Have a great weekend! Cheers, Holley
I did the whole card in pink mono tone complete with cute little pink centers in the flowers that have skulls inside them! The Merry Christmas sign is made of wood that I colored black and I put black lights on the pink Christmas tree. Believe it or not, my local store actually has PINK Christmas trees! Here's a close up of this wonderful image:
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are not working on some marvelous Christmas cards. Drop by our Facebook group and share what you make with us: Sweet Pea Stamps Friends and Fans. Have a great weekend! Cheers, Holley

Featured Artist Regan Kubecek- Fine Things by Ria....
Hi, it is Ria here with my view on artist Regan Kubecek's Fine Things digistamp.
First I am showing you Fine Things colouring that I did as an Early morning colouring a couple weeks ago on FB. I coloured her with a new brand alcohol marker that I got Stylefile markers. As I only got a red and blue tone set I had to use all these colours and normally I would not think of combining these together but in the end it all worked perfectly together.
Especially when I found a digital craftkit that uses the same colourtones so I created an totally digital card, That I can use to send to a friend overseas and personalize it when needed :) as I am really bad at sending out cards ;) yes I know I have about 500 cards in my Purplelicious Craftroom and I just can't part with them it seems ;)
Well I hope you enjoyed my work with the gorgeouss Fine Things stamp from Regan Kubecek at Sweet Pea Stamps.

Featured Artist Week: Jane's View
Sweet Pea Stamps
Today is my day to showcase an image from Sweet Pea Stamps for our Featured Artist Week where the whole team are using images from Regan Kubecek. I have chosen to work with the image Regan Kubecek's Zoe and make a bag for a change. This image shouted pink and black to me <g>
To begin with I covered a white gift back with some rather scrumptious black snake skin paper.
Next I coloured the digi with Promarkers
Promarkers used
Back to the bag. I attached some stunning pink and gold trim around the top of the bag.
To finish off I made a tag using the same heart die and added a sentiment. Black beads and a gold heart charm were added to the bottom of the heart tag. Onto the dreaded task of bow tying, something I am far from good at.

Next I mounted the digi and cut some hearts using Cherry Lyn's Heart to Heart Doily
And here we are, the finished bag. My lights are being being a pain and I can't get them right today so I apologies for the red trim which should be pink and the washed out text on the tag grrrrrrrrr.
Ingredients
- Image - Regan Kubecek's Zoe
- Promarkers
- Dies - Cherry Lyn's Heart to Heart Doily
- Covering paper, charm, beads, braid and ribbon from my stash
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a happy crafting day ahead of you :)

Fancy Boceto
Hallo,
Todays project uses a beautiful image from Eny Guerrero called 'Fancy Boceto' .
This image reminds me of Mardis Gras and I started out planning to do her in purple but the pinks and maroons just kinda fell into my hands instead :)
I colored her with prismacolor pencils and cut her out with a Spellbinders die. I edged the main panel with gold metallic pen and then layered it to a maroon panel. The base is some pretty scrapbook paper with a big pink flower on it and then I added some ribbons and some gold corner stickers and a couple rhinestones. I thought about adding some glitter to her mask but decided I liked it the way it was - so now I will have to do one in purple with a glittered mask LOL :)
All for today - Take Care

La Calvera Catrina
Here's a great Dia de los Muertos stamp from Sweet Pea artist Regan Kubecek. This beautiful image is called La Calvera Catrina. I love this artist's beautiful images. I added a Dia de los Muertos die cut skull in shimmery silver and some vibrant flowers on a flower background card. Bright colors are very prominent on Dia de los Muertos décor.
There's a great contest going on over at the One Sweet Challenge site and the theme is Dia de los Muertos. There's so many gorgeous stamps that you can choose from at the store. There's a category that they are included in "Halloween Fall Thanksgiving" section. Join in the fun!

Hello Sweet Pea's :)

Snowflake Wonder....
I coloured him with Stylefile markers 428-416-562-554-316-600 and enhanced it with purple and blue pencils with sansodor.

Little close up of the dragon and his flakes....

Good Morning!!! Denise here
I made an envelope card using Concetta Kilmer's 'Mr and Mrs Christmas Sweets'
Isn't this sweet? These are very addicting, all it takes is one 12" x 12" paper and just folding.
I added glossy accents to most of the candies.
It opens like this and you can put your sentiment, tickets, money, or
what-ever-else you desire inside.
The back even has pockets that you can use too!
