Hi everyone, I hope you're doing fine. Today I show you a card I made with an elder stamp from fabulous Meredith Dillman, called 'Diamond'. She is available as a single stamp, and on Plate # 107 together with three more beautiful images.

I coloured the image with Distress Inks, and added some accents with Pencils and yellow Stickles.

Sweet Pea Stamps have just releases fabulous new images by ching-chou kuik's, Terra Bidlespacher and Elizabeth Bell. Just hurry to take a look at them!

Have a magical day!

Feeling Tired

How is everyone doing today?  I am running behind on everything this week and feeling a bit more tired than usual.  I have been going non stop for over a month now trying to get thing done in and around our house.
I do have a lot to share with you just some of these cards were made forever ago.
This first one I was trying to get her done last week for our Blog Hop but I ran out of time. I finally finished her this week.

I used Caron Vinson's "Scorpio" (Sheet #1 Plate #77) and cut her out and added some foam square for some dimension.
I used some Basic Grey DP., I love the colors in this papers.  I added some sparkle to her wings with a Sakura Clear Gel Pen.

For this one I kept it simple to showcase the beautiful image. This image is by our artist Katerina Koukiotis called "Secret Garden"  and she can be found on Sheet #3, Plate #159.

For this one I used one the ching chou kuiks black and white art images and she can be found on sheet 14, plate #43.

I used one of  Brigid Ashwood's Phunky Phairies sheet 2 (plate 75) called "Darja".

I wanted to make her with Mardi Gras colors.  I guess I am not afraid now to use primary colors any more.

Thanks for stopping by and there is still a sale for $2 each on a lot of stamps over at the Sweet Pea Store.

Go HERE to pick some up for yourself , oh and maybe a friend. You know Christmas will be here soon.

Autumn birthday

Hi everyone. Hope you had a fantastic august. I've been away from the blog, but now I'm back with new inspiration.

Today I'd like to show you a card using the fabulous stamp from Meredith Dillman called Diamond. I wanted to make an autumn themed birthday card, but without the usual brownish colours or the obvious leaves. I think this one pulls it off, even if there are a lot of flowers on it. The shades remind me of this time of the year: the last warm days and signs of summer. I also added some free-hand doodling (the x:es and running stitches) as I think they add something to the card. And as always I've used my promarkers to color the image.

Broken Angel

Here's a stunning stamp called Broken Angel by artist Meredith Dillman (Plate #107). I just love the beauty of this stamp. I wanted to give this stamp very rich coloring so I chose bright blues and dark yellows. I then matched those colors with cardstocks to create the card.

The beautiful border surrounding the image is done with large size punches from Martha Stewart. I lined the center with shimmery silver paper and then added my Copic colored image along with my saying for the card. The saying comes from another Meredith Dillman sheet Plate #98.

Wishing you all a wonderful stamping day!

Cheers, Holley

Think Pink

Hi everyone! Great that you take a look here. Today I want to share two cards with you. Both are kept in the colour pink as a main colour.

The first one is from the Meredith Dillman's Art Collection and is called 'Flower Fairy'. This beautiful fairy comes together with three more adorable images on plate 107, and is available as a single stamp as well.

Here I used designer papers from S.E.I. and Making Memories. The dies for the swirl and the flowers is from Magnolia. The lace is St. Galler embroidery which is quite famous here in Switzerland. The little butterflies are stamped and cut out. I added them with some adhesive foam and folded the wings up to give them more dimension. At the bigger flower I added some white tulle between flower and brad.

The second card is one of the fabulous images of the ching-chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection and is called 'Love is Gone' and you can find her on plate 29 together with three more beautiful images. You can get her as a single stamp as well.

The designer paper is from Fancy Pants 'Love Birds'. The dotted paper is the backside of this sheet. Then I used some red corrugated cardboard carton... my what a word :o). The flowers are from Wild Orchid. The doily, ribbons and ticket is from my stack.

Both images are coloured with distress ink on heavy watercolour paper.

Well, thank you very much for taking a look here which is always much appreciated. Have a wonderful day and... think pink!

Hugs, Karina
