Hello again Sweet Pea lovers!
Today I want to share a Baptism card for you, and I thought that the Believe image by Karen Middleton would be perfect for a Baptism card.
I've been coloring up the image with my Distress Inks, and added some glitters and Liquid Pearls.
The papers are from Ladybug and Friends, and I've also added Hug Snug ribbons which I've colored up with Distress Inks and water. Letters- and numberstickers, butterflies from Karen Marie Klip, Punch-around from MS, doily and laces. The halfpearls, flowers and the charm are all from Kort og Godt.
On the inside, I've written a Baptism poem on my computer and printed it onto Aquarelle papers. I've also made a hidden moneypocket behind the poem.
Here are some pictures, I hope you like my card!
The card
Believe - I find this image so beautiful!
I love how the mother carries her little baby in her arms!
Flowers, pearls and stickles ;)
My new favorite charm
The inside of the card - you can see the hidden moneypocket behind the poem
The poem says something like "A little child, a tiny body, a tiny hand that stretches up. You are a beautiful little gem. Congratulations on your Baptism day." (This is directly translated from Norwegian, and that's why it seems like a really bad poem!! But in fact, it rhymes! LOL)
Wishing you all the best!
Lots of love, Randi
