Hello everyone, today I want to share with you a project I recently made with one of the newest images from the amazing artist ching-chou kuik's. Her images are so great to play with. The one I used is 'Spring Nocturne'. This beauty is available on Plate # 238 together with three more fabulous images. She is also available as a Single Stamp and as a Digi Stamp.
I coloured the image with Copics, the background papers are from Basic Grey.
Then I also tried out a new technique on my card; Frantage. I still had quite some embossing powders at home but haven't used for ages. But with Frantage I discovered this great technique for me again. Love the effect it gives. I embossed the edges and corners around the image and the birdcage as well, and am quite satisfied how it turned out.
Wish you a wonderful day now. Thank you so much for looking!
Hugs, Karina
Lovely card Karina
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Karina, I love the Frantage - didn't know it had a special name. Great colouring and design.

Your card is a breath of spring Karina!! I love the colors and you will need to give us a lesson in this "Frantage" you used as it is so lovely. Is it a matter of random dusting with EP or more?

This is just stunning! Your colouring on this image is just gorgeous... I *love* her pink hair and the contrast with the teal background and your shading is amazing.. her hair and skin just glow!
ReplyDeleteSo much gorgeous detail on this card too.. all the layered flowers and elements and fabric. Luscious.
Love how you've used the Frantage embossing powder too - the effect is just perfect.

ReplyDeleteWOW Karina!! Amazing. I LOVE the hair color on this gorgeous Maiden. Wonderful. The embellishments on this card are fabulous as well. I also LOVE how you add make up to your images. You are going to have to teach me that. I don't even wear makeup, much less color it on my stamps. Just stunning!!
