I came across this image by ching-chou kuik titled
"The Koi"
that had been stamped onto some vellum
some time ago and decided to play....
I cut a white mat and then a frame by
fitting 2 dies together (by SB) and
airbrushed the scallop frame and
UTEE'd it.
Then I used some gorgeous background paper
from a seed corn company ad.... can you believe it?
I added some gel stickers in one corner but
didn't want to cover too much.
You can find this beautiful stamp over at
Thanks for stopping by!

I love the turqouise color you've used in hair and dress. Nice contrast. Cool with UTEE. :)
ReplyDeleteConnie, lovely job. I love the background paper and the swirl you added, gives it a sealife look. Very pretty

Very pretty technique Connie. I love that swirl. Lovely
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely - such a great technique to colour on vellum, it gives a lovely soft effect. Perfect for the underwater theme of this image. Love the upclying too - that paper from an advert is great! :)

Gorgeous Connie! Just felt like sitting in an U-boat looking through out a bull eye seeing this beauty in the sea. Great technique!
