Ching Chou Kuik's Red Riding Hood Series

Although I've been in the Halloween mode, I decided to use one of the Little Red Riding Hood stamps from Plate #65.

I colored her with Copics and created the flower with a scrap of silk ribbon. The papers are all scraps which were embossed with various embossing folders from a friend. Honestly, I've been sick since Thursday, so this card has a lot of mistakes but this cutie is just too cute, regardless of the coloring mistakes.
For the card design I went clean & simple - but added the silk ribbon flower in the corner.

To cover the accidental gob of glue, I strategically placed some left over die cut leaves.

The sentiment is also from Plate #65 which I stamped onto white card stock and then cut apart to put the first part of the sentiment on the front of the card and the rest of it on the inside.

Works for me, how about you? I'm off to check out the new, fabulous releases at the new, spiffy and elegant Sweet Pea Stamps webstore. Are you with me? See you there!

  1. I do not see any mistakes. If you had some you covered them great!!! That flower is absolutely impeccable. I love how you cut the sentiment apart and put part in the inside. Clever!!!
