Variation's Week Holley's View

 Hi all! It's Holley here today to share my variation with the Pumpkin Sprite image from artist Mitzi Sato-Wiuff.  You all KNOW I just love Halloween and this stamp is no exception. It's just cute as can be. I totally loved coloring this little guy up and making a fun Halloween card with him.  I used some felt ribbon with ruffles, some sparkly candy buttons, a trio of Jackolaterns and a shimmery flower with a "scary" brad in the middle.  What more could you want for Halloween?

Well, candy of course. So I had to add a delightful chipboard tag to remind everyone that I want some candy!  Here's this adorable image from Mitzi Sato-Wiuff.  She has the cutest Sprites and fairy stamps at the store.

Variation Week Pumpkin Sprite-Olivia's View #MSWpumpkinsprite

This week our team has decided to showcase some of the fabulous rubber images offered by Mitzi at Sweet Pea Stamps

We all used the image-Pumpkin Sprite. Of course this one was just perfect for a Halloween project for me.

I left this one as a 4 x 6 since I have yet to decide if I am going to use it as a part of a scrapbook page or for a card.  I colored the image with my Copics and placed it on a embossed spider background mat.  I added a sentiment from a stash with a tiny spider and some twine to give it more depth.

I absolutely love Mitzi's whimsical images, and this one is just one of the cutest. The little kitty has so much expression in its pose alone.

As always I colored her in with my copics, and these are the ones I used:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11
Orange: Y35, Y38, YR16, YR07, YR09
Brown: E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
Green: YG93, YG95, YG97
Purple: V12, V15, V17
Grey: W3, W5, W7, W9

There's no fancy folds going on this time. It's just a few flowers, a bit of ribbon and some dew drops. Plain and simple, so the pretty image can really shine on the front.

Variations Week with Pumpkin Sprite: Aletha’s View

Aletha here and it’s my day for our Variation’s Week featuring Mitzi Sato-Wiuff’s Pumpkin Sprite rubber stamp. Mitzi’s sprites are some of my favorites among her rubber stamps in the Sweet Pea Stamps shop.

I had a lot of fun doing my first Halloween themed card for this year. Pumpkin Sprite was colored with Copics and some added bling was added with glitter pens. Next step was to trim her with a circle die, add black ink around the circle, and mount her on a circle die cut in orange cardstock. This orange die cut has black ink around the outer edge also.

Copics used:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, and R20

Pumpkin body: E08, 29, 31, and YR04

Treat bucket and flower hat: YR20, 21, 23, 24, 27

Leaves and stem: G40, 82, 94, 99

Cat: C1, 5, 7, 9, and black Copic liner

Cats eyes and inside of bucket: YG21m 25

Background: W00, 0, 1, 2, 3

I had a lot of fun with my various dies too. I cut out all the elements and before I detached them from the die I added black ink to the embossed areas. For the bats eyes I decided on some Liquid Pearls. Last embellishment is the pumpkin brad in the upper left corner. After all was done, I decided that Pumpkin Sprite is trying to decide if she wants to go on with her Trick or Treat evening.

Variations Week with Pumpkin Sprite: Jane’s View

Sweet Pea Stamps

Today is my day to showcase an image from Sweet Pea Stamps for our Variation Week.  This week all the DT are creating an item using the cute image 'Pumpkin Sprite' by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff. This image is only available in rubber.

To begin with I coloured the image with Promarkers

 Promarkers used

 Next I back my card with some green patterned paper from Papermania.  Using the die Sizzix die Frame #6 I cut the digi and also some orange paper I had.  I then airbrushed the digi background with Promarker Apple Green.  A quick rummage around in the flower box to find some peach coloured flowers and some dried leaves then the lace box to find something suitable :) :)

Featured Artist week - Sande's View - Mitzi Sato-Wiuff

Hello you all, it's Sande here with you today.

 Today I am sharing a card by using an image from our Featured Artist - Mitzi Sato-Wiuff. 

I bet you have heard of her! This image is called "Pumpkin Sprite".

.

We don't celebrate this Trick or Treat celebration here in Finland. That is sad! What would be more fun than collect a bags full of candies - LOL!

 I have used my Copics as I always do.

 The image can be found at the store as a digital.

Midnight Raven - Tera

 Hallo,
   Tera here with a sweet little card today using 'Midnight Raven' by Ching Chou Kuik.
   I colored her with prismacolor pencils and cut her out with a Spellbinders die. Found some pretty papers to match the bit of  purple in her hair and for her eyes and a bit of black and gray accented with a silver metallic pen.
  Then I added some silver pearl drops with a tulip fabric paint pen, some gray ribbon, some purple ribbon, a paper flower that I sprayed with purple colored glimmer mist - and last but not least a cleat sticker birdcage with a raven in it.
  I will probably be using this for a Halloween card but it doesn't have to be :)

 Here's a great image from Sweet Pea artist Charmaine Flannery named Athena.  I just love this steampunk girl and the mechanical owl sitting on her knee.  I found these metallic owl stickers from Sticko that just seemed to match perfectly. I used a sentiment from Sweet Pea "Owl always love you" to go with the card.  Isn't she fabulous?

Be sure and click the link so you can see the artist's original coloring. I love to see how different an image can look based on the color. I am still using a hint of violet, but her primary color is violet, including the hair, so beautiful!
