Rosemary

Hi everyone... today I want to show you a card I made with this fabulous image 'Rosemary' from Karen Middletons Rag Doll Designs. She is soooo beautiful, don't you think so? I had this background paper from K& C for a while already and wanted to make a card with it soon. So I thought why not give her some blue/green hair to combine with this papers. And I really love it. I coloured her with Distress Inks. 

This gorgeous image is available as a single stamp, and together with three other beautiful portraits on Plate # 184. The sentiment is from Sweet Pea Stamps as well.

Connie-Cornflower Blue

Isn't this Karen Middleton image from Sweet Pea Stamp's 

plate #194 titled "Cornflower Blue" simply gorgeous??

In keeping with her name I kept the same "cornflower blue" color scheme throughout.

I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut it out and

ran a black Copic marker around the edges to cover up those

little bits of white where I missed the lines.

I sponged some Memento "Summer Sky" around the edges of her

blouse to define the image against the white backdrop.

Supplies used include embossing folder by Couture Creations "Drink Me",

white Offray ribbon from Wal Mart, pop dots.

I kept the card on the simple side so not to overwhelm this wonderful stamp.

ANOTHER ONE FROM ME - SHARON

I had been wanting to use this collection of stamps from Elizabeth Bell but Christmas came and I was unable to craft.  I must admit it took me a few days to get back into crafting - may be it's a little bit like when you fall off a bike - you are apprehensive about getting back on it!

Planting Seeds of Happiness

Here's a stunning image from Sweet Pea stamps artist Valerie Wade called "Planting Seeds" (Plate#118). I love this artist's amazing fairy images. I just had to add some stunning floral lace that I got while in Turkey, along with some beautiful butterflies. After that, I think the image stands out enough that the card doesn't need any more embellishing.I added little polka dots with a gold pen around the diecut and gently edged the cardstock of the image with some Colorbox Chalk in a deep pink. Here's a closeup of the stampIsn't she just adorable? Makes me think of a little girl running around the meadow, only instead of picking flowers, this little girl is spreading seeds that will turn into flowers.

All About The Flowers

Hi everyone.  Today I have 2 cards to share with you, both using images from ching-chou kuiks. This first one is from her newest sheet, Sheet #41, Plate #199.  This name of this beautiful image is "Poppy, from the Mist".  I thought she would make a perfect Valentine's Day card. 

My second one is another chin-chou kuiks image.

I used "Daisy Fairy" from  Sheet #36, Plate #143. 

I have soooooo much fun coloring all of ching-chou kuik's beautiful images.
