Season's greetings
Welcome to today's inspiration post. This week we are focusing on the images of Conie Fong. This one is called Buttercup and looks very much like a summer stamp, especially as it comes with a little butterfly hovering around the girl's head. I decided to cut the image out instead making it more Christmas like. Doesn't she look like she's waiting for Santa?
I coloured her with oilpencils and mounted the image on a red piece of cardstock to add the red border. I thought it made the image stand out and added interest to the card. Hope you are more ready for Christmas than I am. How did it get here so fast again?!

Adorable Katarina, Love the red border gives it a total different look.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Katarina! You've positioned her on the lovely papers so it even appears like she has a halo somewhat....

Yes, it does add interest I like it. Reminds me of school when you coloured maps etc - always got more marks when the sort of edging was done.
ReplyDeleteLove the dreamy feel of the image.
Best wishes, Sharon
