Happy Halloween with Ching Chou Kuik's Pumpkin Light
Wishing all those who Celebrate it a Happy Halloween! I thought I'd get into the spirit of the season and colour this gorgeous stamp from Ching Chou Kuik - Pumpkin Light with Watercolour pencils for something a little different. This super cute image is available in red rubber or as a digi stamp (which is what I;ve used here).
Mother and Baby Girl
Hello everyone, great to see you here! I have some inspiration for you to show. For this card I recently made I used this sweet image called 'Mother and Baby Girl' and is from the artist Conie Fong. This image is available as rubber and as a digital image. And is available for a boy too. And it is perfect for a card welcoming a newborn baby.
I coloured the image with Copics. The papers I used is from Maja Design 'Sofiero'... love those papers!
I addes some Frantage and white Crackle Paint here and there.
Below you can see how the tag looks like. I stamped a sentiment from Whiff of Joy onto it. A German saying what means 'When a star is falling down from heaven to earth a newborn just see the light of the day'.
Thank you so much for looking! Have a wonderful day now.
Hugs, Karina

Autumn trio by Ching-Chou Kuik
This is a new release stamp that I got and would like to share it. It is called Autumn Trio by The very talented Ching-Chou Kuik. This stamp is available in digi or rubber. I made this card for a very special friend, Jill, who had a birthday recently. I really like easel cards so I used that style of card and I love my new spellbinders cutter.
I colored this on paper by Hammermill. It is really great thick card stock. Here is a close up.

Rebecca Sinz's Bleeding Hearts
My rather awesome - and very arty and talented - niece turned 18 recently and of course I had to send her a card...
I decided to use one of Rebecca Sinz's awesome digi stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps and for this card I chose Bleeding Hearts:
I love Rebecca's striking women and in particular her series of flower-themed portraits. I coloured Bleeding Hearts with my Promarkers and added some accents with a white gel pen.
I teamed the image with some gorgeous papers in rich, purple shades and lots and lots of pretty die-cuts and punches. I embellished the edge of my card using a decorative scrollwork die and then layered over bronze coloured cardstock, which I edged with a scroll edge punch.
I cut a delicate lattice using a Marianne Creatables die and layered this over the left side of the card.
I matted my image onto bronze card and attached it with foam pads, layering a decorative die-cut corner under it.
To finish I added layered metal and paper flowers and a greeting stamped and heat embossed and cut into a pennant shape.
I also decorated the inside of the card, to increase the contrast behind the die-cut edge.
This gorgeous image is available in red rubber or digi format from the Sweet Pea Stamps store.
Inspiration With Nataliya. Part #2 Of 4.
Hello my Friends. Here is Part #2 of 4 of my project for Sweet Pea Stamps.
You can see Part #1 HERE.
This time i used stamp "The Moth" by Ching Chou Kuik. It's a beautiful collection of 4 circle images, which you can have as a digital images as well.
Image was colored with Distress Ink pads and placed on the Die cut Doilies. Base of the project was cut with Grand Dies by Spellbinders. I added gems to her flowers in her hair, Stickles, and Glamour Dust paint.
With clear stamp i stamped sentiment "Hope" on the Die cut tag
You should know by now, that i love sparkles. So here is some swirls gems for you, with a splash of Diamond Dust.
After i die cut this Green leaf, i stamped with Vintage words Background stamp and embossed with Copper embossing powder. Then used 3D-Stamp paint by Heartfelt Creations on the edges around the leaf.
Butterfly i made from one of the digital printable butterfly, by embossing over with clear embossing powder, then Die cut Butterfly on the top with clear gems.
I did some stitching here too, but barely can see behind the embellishments. And i added home made flowers by me.
I hope you like it, and see you soon with my project #3of 4.
Have a good day!!
Hugs Nataliya

Zam!
Happy Saturday! Today is the final day of the featured artist week. My image is Zam, found in Brigid Ashwood's collection of wonderful artwork.
This is such a fun image to work with. I always like to place embellishments in a haphazard way, just as though they are part of the items that are scattering from his pockets.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit today and will check out all of Brigid's wonderful stamps. Thanks for stopping by!

Featured Artist Week: Brigid Ashwood by Shanna
Yay I am so excited this week is here. Artist of the week is still pretty new and I love seeing what each of the designers pick for their choice of images. Variations week is fun too sharing each designers talents for taking the same image and making into to something completely different.
So this week our Artist we will all be sharing is Brigid Ashwood. Her stamps are all available in rubber only. She has such a unique style especially with her steampunk creations. She also creates fun fairies.
So for my image I chose Firefly! I love this image. Something so fun and challenging about it but I took on the fun of coloring her with my copics. Next time I need to try pencils once I get better are pencils. I think even watercoloring would be a perfect fit.
Thanks so much for stopping by Sweet Pea Stamps. Make sure you come back daily for more inspiration!
Featured Artist Week: Brigid Ashwood by Holley
Here's an adorable stamp from Sweet Pea artist Brigid Ashwood. She has a whole line of fun Rubber Stamps at the Sweet Pea store, this girl is called Jinx. I thought this cute little outfit, with her skull and crossbones tattoo would go well on this gorgeous paper that has an adorable skull pattern on it. I added some great combo of orange, red and yellow embellishments and one of the newest die cuts from Spellbinders.
here's a close up of the image itself, be sure and check out all the other Sweet Pea design team works this week, as this artist will be featured all week long.
Check out all of this artists images at Sweet Pea stamps here.

Featured Artist Week: Brigid Ashwood by Kym
It is "Artist of the Week" time over at Sweet Pea Stamps. This is when an artist is showcased on the Sweet Pea Stamps Blog for a week by members of the Design Team. The "Artist of the Week" for October 2013 is the ever so talented Brigid Ashwood.
Brigid Ashwood's images are available only as rubber stamps at Sweet Pea Stamps. For my card I have used the image called "Darja". I have coloured the image in with my Promarkers/Flexmarkers. I have inked around the image with my Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet and Tumbled Glass distress inks and added some pearl dots.
For my card I have used a new CD called "Perfect Papercrafting Companions" by Creative Crafting World. I have used a plain pink/spotty pink and a plain blue/gingham blue to match the image. I have finished the card off with some die-cuts, doily, raffia ribbon, Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment and Card Candi.
