Variation's Week: Holley's View

Hello everyone!  Hope you are all enjoying the variations week here at Sweet Pea stamps!  So much fun, isn't it?  I know I love to see what all of the different designers do with the same image.  Here's my take using Karen Middleton's image "An Apple a Day"

 
I colored the image using Copic Markers and added some Washi tape to my card.  I added some Glitz, the word Friends, as I can so see her holding her own imaginary conversation with the little tiny worm in that apple.  I also used a wonderful sentiment from Sweet Pea stamps "For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it. For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it."

    Such a pretty card, Holley! You coloured her so beautiful. Great idea to add some Washi tape. It looks like it would be lace. The sentiment is a perfect match.

    Oooh that's lovely washi tape, Holley! I keep collecting the stuff but rarely seem to use it! :lol:
