For my creation this week I am once again playing with a gorgeous Ching-Chou Kuik image. I just love her artwork... it was seeing one of her stamps used on a card somewhere in blogland that lead me to find Sweet Pea Stamps and to fall in love with their awesome range of gorgeous stamps! :)
This one is called Butterfly Blue and despite being tempted at first to colour her in bright colours, I eventually opted to colour her with more muted wintery colours... in fact, I dug out my limited edition Winter set of Promarkers for this one:
The papers are (yet again) ones that came free with a craft magazine and I cut some delicate embellishments on my Cameo... I also liked the idea of the embellishments overhanging the edge of the card so I trimmed down the front section of the card and added more of the paper on the exposed back section of the card:
I once again used a Flexmarker pen for a pale colour wash in the background of the image:
And I also accented her jewellery and the beading in her hair, using Stickles and Perlen Pens.

Awesome delicate touches Ali. I really like how they overhang the edges of your work. Super-great coloring too!
