I think this gorgeous Gal looks better
as a snow maiden than she did originally as a mermaid don't you?
She is named "Darya" and is done for Sweet Pea Stamps by
Elaine Cox and can be found on plate #133.

I trimmed out her fishtail and background for this card
and paired with snowflake punches and borders.
Supplies used:
Memory Box dies "Crystalline Border" and
"Frostyville Border"
Spellbinders "Classic Scallop" Edgies
Viva Decor pens
Copic markers
I used a paper for the background done with salt and dye reinkers
along with a water spritzer bottle.
We've had no snow here this winter and I hope the only
snow I see is on this card!
Thanks for stopping!
Connie

ReplyDeleteThis is *gorgeous*! I love how you've cut her out and that snowflake border die is just stunning! Beautiful card. :)
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with this image Connie. This is very eye catching. Remarkable job
ReplyDeleteSO Beautiful Connie! Sorry I have not been around here lately. Just now starting to feel better. I hate being sick.
ReplyDeleteAnyway back to your GORGEOUS card. I love that Memory Box die and mine just came in the mail today. I can't wait to use them along with my other new dies and paper.
I really love the softness you created with her.
Hugs:)

That's an amazing card. I just love the image you chose and how you layered everything. The spritzing is great. Move on down to TX and you may not ever see snow except for on cards (which you will notice, I never add snow on, I just don't know how...)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea to make her a snow maiden. Love it so much and those dies are really to die for. Gorgeous creation, Connie.
