Holley presents Little Old Cat Lady from artist Sandra Caldwell

Here's an adorable image from Sweet Pea artist Sandra Caldwell called Little Old Cat Lady. Isn't she cute as can be?  I can totally imagine this lady walking around my neighborhood with her grandchildren or going to one of the local Halloween events.  Everyone would just fall in love with her.

Here's a great close up of this darling image, which is currently available as a digi stamp.  Sandra has a bunch of other fun stamps that you could use for Halloween, some typical such as witches and jackolaterns, but also some fun ladies dressed up as bees, ladibugs and other cute little outfits that would be perfect as Halloween "costumes."
Drop by our Facebook group Sweet Pea stamps Friends and Fans and share your latest Sweet Pea creations.  We can't wait to see, there's always a fun contest going on and lots of great card sharing, and you'll hear about the latest coupons for the store!  Cheers, Holley

Tera presents 'Midnight Travelers' by Rebecca Sinz

     Hallo,

I had some fun with Unicorns today - as a young girl, I like many loved Unicorns - and I still do so of course I had to hace this great image from Rebecca Sinz called 'Midnight Travelers'
I colored them both with prismacolor and polychrome pencils and then layered the main image to some shimmery gold cardstock. Then I added a bit of glitter and gold corner stickers.
The first one is a gold unicorn with a rainbow mane and the second is the classic white unicorn.
   Have a great day!!!

Jane presents Ching Chou Kuik's Holly Fairy

Good morning folks, hope you are having a good day :) For my DT creation today I have used the gorgeous image Holly Fairy by Ching Chou Kuik available in both rubber and as a digi from Sweet Pea Stamps.

To begin with I coloured the image with Polychromos.

Next I embossed a black mat and then mounted this on red.  Next was the red lace and then it was onto the die cutting :)  The trellis is a die by Cherry Lyn and the wee holly leaves are a die from Memory Box.  I then added red crystal gems to represent the holly berries.  Finally I added some red ribbon to cover the line of the lace edge and a bow with another couple of holly leaves and some more gems.
The inside of the card was finished off using the Tattered Lace Studley die for the red and Spellbinders circles for the white writing area.  Ah, almost forgot to mention, the last bit I did was to add a Christmas sentiment using Elizabeth Craft Designs - 745 Merry Christmas die

Ingredients :-
  • Image - Holly Fairy by Ching Chou Kuik
  • Colouring medium - Polychromos
  • Dies - Cherry Lyn Trellis,  Memory Box Holly Leaves, Tattered Lace Studley, Spellbinders Circles andElizabeth Craft Designs 745 Merry Christmas die
  • From my stash - lace, gems, ribbon, gold cord

Tera presents 'Real in Dreams' by Karen Middleton

       Hallo,

I am popping in today with an altered journal that I made using this great image from Karen Middleton called 'Real in Dreams'.
I colored the image with prismacolor and polychrome pencils. I used a journal that had some great textures on the covers and sprayed them with a color mist with shimmery stuff in it (not sure of the brand as the label has worn off :)
I then edged the image layer and the covers edges with gold metallic pen and added some great stickers to match. This journal is 8 and 1/4 inches square for the covers and the nice heavy cardstock inside is 8 by 8 inches square.
All for today - Take Care
         Tera
