Just for you

Here's a wonderful image from Sweet Pea Stamps artist Elisabeth Bell called Sweet Incorrigiblity.  I think this kiddo looks way too cute to really be incorrigible. I am using a great Spellbinders frame to cut out the image as well as a wonderful saying from the Sweet Pea Vertical Sayings plate (Plate #4).
Here's a close-up of the image so you can see the wonderful details.  There's just some stamps that you see immediately and you just know it is from Elisabeth Bell, aren't her stamps adorable?
Doesn't he look sweet as can be?  what mom would call him incorrigible? OK, well, definitely SWEETly incorrigible, esp with those cute flowers he'd be giving her.  Hope this card makes you feel like crafting today.  Be sure and check out all of the Elisabeth Bell images at the store, as well as stopping by to see the current sale!  Can you believe the great sale going on?

Cheers, Holley

Karen Middleton's Dream Angel

This is another gorgeous new release from Karen Middleton titled Dream Angel.  I wanted to use some pink boa feathers at first but couldn't find any so I took a different route.

The paper is Prima I believe, the heart is a wooden one from Kaisercraft - I covered it with a Viva Pearl pen,, then added some pearls along the side of the background paper. The flowers are Prima too. It has such a regal feel to it I thought a shield from Tattered Angels would be a nice addition also.

Thanks for stopping by!

Brown Hat Spring Fairy

I created an ATC with more of a Fall feel and color scheme.  This image from Sweet Pea Stamps is the Brown Hat Spring Fairy by Elaine Cox.  It is one of the earlier releases and is part of a truly fabulous sheet and all four images have owls in them.  I trimmed the image quite a bit to fit the area I had created so you do get a bit more to work with for your creations.

Connie-Sweet Pea Checkbook Cover

I have dipped into my Sweet Pea Stamps stash for
this project.  My old checkbook cover was
getting a little ragged looking so I gathered up some
 Sweet Pea Stamps
and made a new one.

I used some images from Plate #28 by
ching chou kuik and some pretty pearl swirls
by Recollections paired with some
papers by K and Company along with
my butterfly edger punch by Martha Stewart for one
side (top photo).

The bottom photo shows the other side of the cover with
the same paper pad (different design) and same butterfly punch.
On this side I used stamps from Plate #5
"Wanna Have Fun"
as well as some Stickles by Ranger
"Stardust"
and small gems here and there.

I punched a border from one paper and adhered it to the other paper and
repeated for the other side for added contrast.

A simple but useful project yes?
Thanks for stopping by!

Lori returns to YouTube!

Lori demonstrates how to create a cover for a notebook with pockets. It would be great for back to school or as a gift for a teacher or friend. It showcases two beautiful Sweet Pea Stamps, Teresa Sherman's "Fae" and Elizabeth Bell's "Teeny Tiny."

Karen Middleton's Blessed Dreams

Today I would like to share a card created with Karen Middleton's Blessed Dreams. This image can be found as a single or on a sheet that includes three other lovely images.

Please excuse how off kilter my image is, I finally broke down and bought a new pc. It came with Adobe Elements and I am not too familiar with it's workings...being lazy I will probably download the free programs I am accustomed to later this week.

Anyway, the papers and flowers are Prima and Core'dinations, the image was colored with Copics, the gemstones are Glitterazzi. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend! Don't forget to visit the SPS store, there are some super awesome stamp specials going on!

Meet Eva the Witch

Meet Eva the Witch.  This awesome image is designed by artist Teresa Sherman on plate #213.  I love how mysterious she looks.  To enhance that look, I fussy cut her out and layered her on a piece of shimmery gold paper.  I mounted her on a double layer of double stick tape, so she is actually quite high on the card.
Then I added some major shimmery bling behind her.  It's thick bling covered in glitter and all black, but it gives a wonderful radiance about it and really makes Eva the Witch stand out.  Here's a close up of this wonderful stamp:
Drop by the store and check out all of  Teresa Sherman's images, including a new sheet, plate #222.  As a extra this week, here's another awesome stamp that is designed by Teresa, it's called Skeletal Candle Holder, plate #216.
I am using a wonderful border punch to go with it from Martha Stewart and a saying stamp from Sweet Pea stamps.  Isn't this stamp great, here's a close up, I think many people might like this for occasions other than Halloween!

Be sure and check out all the great holiday theme stamps and especially the brand new Teresa Sherman stamps!!  They are perfect for Halloween.

Teeny Tiny

Hello everyone, last Sunday we had a very hot day with around 34 degrees. As I don't like it that hot I preferred to stay inside and crafting in my somewhat a bit cooler craft room, creating this card I want to show you today. I made it with my actual favourite colour combo... cool colours :o)... blue and pink. I used one of my favourite images by Elizabeth Bell called 'Teeny Tiny'

I coloured this sweet image with Distress Inks. The background papers are Prima.

Have a magical day now!
Hugs, Karina

Connie-Floral Gift Card

This little pretty comes to you courtesy of
Elisabeth Bell titled
"Lazy Daisy"
from her Twinkle Toe series for
Sweet Pea Stamps.

A friend (who loves the color orange)
just had a baby girl so of course I
thought of this Sweet Pea Stamps image.
The card itself is fairly simple since
there isn't enough room on a card this
size to add much bling.
I sized it to fit the small card stick that comes with
a pot of flowers as you can see at the bottom.
I used Copics for color and cut some tiny
butterflies with dies by
Cheery Lynn Designs
for oomph!
Thanks for stopping by!

Variations Week: Holley's View

Here's a wonderful stamp for Halloween from artist Elisabeth Bell.  This image is Jack-o-Latern Tea.   Here's my card using this adorable image.  I cut out the image using a large Spellbinders rectangular frame and colored it with Copic Markers.  I added some great Halloween themed embellishments including a fun
border theme sticker with Halloween sayings on it as well as some dimensional candy corn stickers and then frosted the edges of the papers with Colorbox Chalk ink.  Below is a close up of the image:

Isn't this a delightful image for those Halloween cards you want to make?  I am using three shades of orange on the dress and the pumpkin YR04, YR07, and YR09.  What a fun image to play with.  Check it out at the Sweet Pea store!

Cheers, Holley
